It sounds like indi games are having the same issues as free games are having.
Often at Lan parties I ask people around the table I am sitting , would you like
to play zxy free game (Freeware/opensource/gpl/etc) and they are like , ohh
its free and not on the retail shelf it must be crap then .

I would like to see an indie dev release a PC (Win/Linux/or both platforms)
game like Virtual cop that supports two mice (player one on ps2 mouse , player 2 on usb mouse) . (also if i could support duel screen output , were screen 1 is player 2 and screen 2 is player 2 that be great , never seen that style of duel out before for pc gaming which is a shame )

Personaly I find decent games with split screen and LAN Multiplayer coop modes is lacking in the free and pay commerical game field .

Im also trying to find a decent diablo style hack and slash game that works on win2000 systems or linux that has fun lan coop mode that doesnt require to play billions of hours in single player just to have fun in a group of 6-8 players .
