I swear that ‘independently developed’ is just another way of saying ‘made by a patient at a mental asylum”, these days.
Rolling in on the crazy train (along with the likes of World of Goo and Gravity Bone), Mirror Stage makes its approach. Like a pixelated dream (or nightmare, depending on how you take it), players control a small green stick as it makes its way around maze-like corridors and, occasionally, through itself.
See, many of the levels have ‘mirrors’ in them, where you can see yourself… although sometimes the ‘reflections’ you can see are fake… yeah. Honestly, its pretty hard to explain what exactly is going on gameplay-wise – its best to just try it out on icecube’s site and see what you think.
