Awesome little thing, this. The Manipulator sees you secretly entering the enemy base by means of taking control of enemy soldiers minds and forcing them to shoot each other and complete puzzles for you.
Yeah, it’s already been done a few times before (see, for example, Second Sight) but it’s the retroness of The Manipulator which gives it the edge. A simple side-scrolling platformer, it guinuinely looks awesome and plays brilliantly. Plus, the intro video, shown below, is simple yet superb.
It’s short but sweet gameplay and surely that’s what you want from an indie game. Download it from the official Virtanen site now.
