With the recent news that Edmund McMillen is working on Super Meat Boy, a follow up to his popular flash game, I decided to get another of his more popular creations, Gish, out again and give it a play.
Available over at Cryptic Sea and also off Steam, Gish follows a small blob of tar as he attempts to save his damsel in distress. In this attempt, he must cross over a variety of terrains, using only his tarry skills to help him, including sliding through small spaces, bouncing up ledges and sticking himself to ceilings.
It’s a great little platformer and will give even the greatest of platforming gods a run for their money – it’s scarily difficult in places. Pick up the demo and have a go now.
