Independently Speaking originally began as an avid gamer’s attempt to showcase all the best indie games and news everyday for both your and his own reading pleasure.
The avid gamer in question is one Michael Rose, once an editor at Steamfriends.com, where he went by the pseudonym ‘Rave’. Over his time as Steamfriends, he dealt with many an independent gaming experience and found himself growing very fond of the genre as a whole.
After a month’s worth of posting the very best indie gaming news here at Independently Speaking, Michael was approached by Think Services and asked to write for the Indie Games Blog. So he did.
Independently Speaking now acts as an outlet for Michael to deliver his (sometimes ridiculous) antedotes and opinions about this, that and the other, along with news regarding the few short indie games he finds himself creating in his (very) spare time.
